Template:Cat for files lacking info
From NevaCal
{{Cat for files lacking info}} gives a helpful standard description for maintenance categories containing files lacking one or more important pieces of information.
- Parameters
The first parameter is the name of the attribute missing as defined by the template name.
- How it is used:
{{{{ucfirst:{{{1}}}}} missing}} - Example if {{{1}}} = 'Author':
{{Author missing}}
'missing' is an optional attribute that displays an alternate name for the missing information in case the template name is not the best one to describe the missing information. This can be used to provide a synonym or display instructions with a different capitalization than the template name uses.
'category' is an optional attribute that overrides the default category of [[Category:Files lacking {{{missing|{{{1}}}}}} information]].
- Note: The parent of any such category should fall under Category:To do or another maintenance category.
'type=Category' indicates that the template is a category containing other categories, not files. The result is category-specific wording rather than file-specific.
