The {{Wiki}} template is a typing-aid template that should always be used in place of the actual project name and site name of this site. The most common uses are for referring to the name of this site (NevaCal Wiki) and wikilinking to the Project namespace (e.g., [[{{Wiki}}:Site organization]]).

Why this template exists
Portability. That sums up the reason very succinctly.
Future site renaming is a possibility
This is a fairly new wiki, and there is a possibility that we might want to rename the site to something else. Using this template helps us keep that option open.
This project's site name is currently "NevaCal Wiki". The Project namespace(a fancy wiki term for the name of the site used internally by the wiki software) for this site is currently "NevaCal".
When referencing articles for matters about the project, such as guidelines and discussions, instead of typing NevaCal, simply type {{Wiki}} instead.
Localization
This also makes it easier to localize imported material from sites like the English Wikipedia. In general, you can simply replace every occurrence of the word "Wikipedia" in an article or template with "{{Wiki}}", and the page will be well on its way to being localized. Obviously, you have to take care that you don't change something that shouldn't be changed in the given context (you don't want to mislead or confuse people). You will also need to verify that all resulting wikilinks actually point to information on this site; some of our documents (especially policies, guidelines, and categories) are organized differently. With categories, we usually drop the word instead of replacing "Wikipedia" in the category name. Again, please watch for redlinks and check every link to be sure that it works.
Usage
Never substitute (e.g., {{subst:Wiki}}) this template, as that would defeat the purpose of the template.
Several additional options are available. Refer to the examples below for all the options. Each option is mutually exclusive, so you cannot combine two options in a single template call (e.g., {{Wiki|Root|Site}}: is not a replacement for {{Wiki|Root}}{{Wiki|Site}}:.
